In this article, we’ll cover some more information about the revolutionary E-Ray’s release, and what you need to be made aware of.

Corvette E-Ray Release Date Revealed

Get ready, speed enthusiasts! The revolutionary, electrifying, 2024 Corvette E-Ray is set to hit the roads late in 2024, or early 2025 (source: Chevrolet). The highly anticipated release of this modern marvel is sure to send ripples through the auto industry, marking a significant milestone in Chevrolet’s journey towards electrification.

As the calendar pages flip closer to this landmark date, the excitement is rabidly growing among Corvette aficionados worldwide. So, buckle up and mark your calendars, because the future of high-performance driving is almost here!

How to Order a Corvette ERay

Wondering how you can get your hands on one of these sports cars? Well, I have some good news for you. Chevrolet dealerships are now taking orders on the 2024 Corvette ERay. That’s right – you can now go to an authorized Chevrolet dealer and make a downpayment to be put on a (probably long) list. This list is called an allocation list. Basically, dealers are allocated a certain number of E-Rays for production.

As a dealer gets an allocation, the highest person on the list gets notified. Most dealers are charging around 5,000.00 USD to secure your spot on this allocation list for the ERay. This down payment is counted towards the payment price of your car.

Once your allocation comes up, expect a call from your dealer. You will be assigned a code that you can follow, online, throughout the product of your car.

Why Are There Already E-Rays on the Road?

Chevrolet has already produced around 150 of the 2024 Corvette E-Ray to give to influential people in the automotive industry. There have been some ERay sightings, but don’t expect to actually see one in person. The amount of cars driving on US roads right now is such a small number. Consider yourself lucky if you see one in person.

For those who think this isn’t a great move, it is nothing new from GM. GM has always given influencers new model cars well before they go into production. This is a marketing move meant to build even more hype (if that’s possible) for this new type of Corvette.

How Much Will a Corvette E-Ray Cost?

Chevrolet has already posted all price points for the new E-Ray. The cost for a base line model is listed at $104,950.00. This is a significant increase compared to the base model of the Corvette Stingray, which is nearly $40,000 less.

The price can go up to $115,840 depending on the specific features and packages chosen. For instance, the convertible model of the E-Ray starts at $111,295. Despite the higher price tag, the E-Ray offers a unique blend of performance and electrification that sets it apart in the Corvette lineup
